But ooooh the wants. And they seem to always win. I went into Bass Pro a few days ago and was looking in the used rack and there it was, An Ithaca LSA 55 in 6mm Remington. Nice wood, nice metal with great blueing. It even had a Simmons scope. Long story short, I went back yesterday evening and offered them my top dollar, which I really figured they wouldn't take it, but they did. So I went out of BPS with a new to me rifle. Wants over ruled the needs again!!!

P.S. Removing the Simmons was first I did, then I cleaned it real good.

I made a 6mm rem with all used parts I got off the net. 26" barrel Herters J6 action, Swedish mauser parts.
OMG best shooting rifle I have. Too bad it has a 1x12 twist. but I can send an 80gr TTSX at close to 3600 fps for deer and a 55 Varmagedin at 4200 fps for coyotes and P dogs.
You will love your new "Want" Don't fall for the trap that you need a 100 bullet for deer.
