I just set an account with photobucket so now I can post some pics. It was a successful day with the dog. They sure are a lot of fun to work with.

These birds were taken about a month ago. I jumped three birds off the road while driving to a spot where I have killed chukar and quail at. I decided to stop the truck and get out to see how many was in the covey. I really didn't want to unload the dog, get out the gun, collar, etc., if it was only a handful of them. There was about 25 in the group and they broke out nicely. I then went back to the truck and got the dog ready. We pursued and went 6 for 6. I decided to circle back with the dog to see if there was any more that did not flush with the original covey. There were quite a few singles that held up, about 75 of them. I couldn't believe it as we walked within thirty yards of them in pursuit of the first batch of birds that broke away from the covey. Needless to say my last four birds came really easy.
