New 6mm nosler Varmageddon in 70gr

during the p. dog wars, I shot the speer TNT 70g in several custom rifles and it was hard to tell the difference in accuracy with a berger or other custom made bullet. I sold my bullet making dies after shooting the TNT in a 6br and 6ppc. They held up well in a 243 AI at 3850 fps, also.

70g TNT is a 1/4" bullet for sure.

The varmageddon is a thin jacket bullet compared to the std nosler solid base, should be extremely explosive on critters.

HA ^^ I just got an "in stock arrival notification" the other day also. It was for some 22lr. It's been probably a year and half since I was looking for that.

I can't get the 70 gr. Nosler BT to shoot well in two 6mm bored rifles. No need to try the cheaper version.

Squeeze, these bullets are constructed differently... Being flat based, they'll likely shoot better at close range. I don't know if it's a "need to" but I "want to." Haha

I am running the 55g FB tipped ones and they shoot just as good as the standard 55g NBT.
Midway must think they are gold plated at $45 per 250, they are higher than natchez also.
IMO they should be closer to $30 per 250.

agree on the high prices, Larry and the midway crew has priced themselves higher and higher. theyre no longer the main place i buy buy from.....but thanks for your business.

I'll let you know. I just picked up some at Shooter's Pro Shop for $12/100. They will be approaching 3800 ft/s out of my 240 Wby Mag.

I've never had stellar accuracy out of the .224 NBT either, but these Varmageddons have been very accurate in my .223. Can't speak to the 6mm's though.

I load the 55 grain Varmaggedon's for my .22-250 and they shoot really well. I almost like them better than the 50 grain ballistic tip spitzers I usually load for it. They shoot really well so I loaded up 100 of them for my .22-250. Going to start with them for my new CZ .243 and see how they do.

Hmmmm, think I recently received some factory 2nds/blems of the 70 gr 6mm Varmageddon for around $13/100 from Shooters Pro Shop. This is Noslers outlet store. Just google Shooters Pro Shop to find it.
