New brass. Norma and Nosler. ??

I just received brand new 17 Remington brass from Nosler and from Norma. Just out of curiosity i was measuring the out side necks. Norma measured.195. Nosler measured .201. Is this normal from one manufacturer to the next. The Nosler Brass was their premium brass

Is there a good reason you are using more than one brand of brass ?
I read another post where you had trouble with one kind over another.

Yes. I found a supplier of 17 Remington brass from Norma

I found that there is a big difference from one brand of brass to another. Ive never been a big fan of Nosler.

Agree. For my 204 ruger I get much better results with Norma. (Lapua doesn’t make it)

Id hate to be looking for 17 Remington brass right now. I did find some new Norma brass last week and bought all they had. I had not seen norma brass in the 17 for a long time. I have a feeling we are seeing the last nails being driven into the 17 Remingtons coffin. Someone on here mentioned going to the 17-223. Id consider a 17 Fireball
