Just bought some winchester .243 brass. It is way under min saami headspace. .006 average under the min by my measure. Is it me or is this dangerous. I know it is hard on the brass to undersize when I am rsizing it after firing. It seems crazy that the new unfired stuff is so short?
Are the companies really scrimping on brass by now undersizing things so save a penny? Or has it always been this way. I have not been reloading for more than a couple years. Just wondering what everyone else's experiences have been. and if the brass is too short to shoot safely.
Thanks
