I went today since I was off to the gun store and came out with a new toy. Its a brand new Browning BLR Lighting 22-250 leupold rings and a Bushnell 3200 Firefly scope. I am a sucker for Browning rifles anyways but this thing is very short and light so it should be a good predator rig. I cant wait to go fire a few rounds off tommorrow. I ust thought I'd share some pics of it. I have loaded up some 37 and 46 gr Calhoon Double HPs to try out so Ill post some pics in the next few days of how well it shot. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Very Nice looking and surprised they offer it in .22-250. Reminds me of my Winchester lever .243 as a kid. How easy does it cycle? Hope you'll show a target too. Thanks

Sweeeettt... slap some camo paint on that and go calling! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Please let us know how she shoots for you.

I have 2- 450 marlin cal. and a 243 win. They are great rifles.I bought the camo clad tape and taped mine up, it looks like the expensive paint job. The tape will save the finish on the rifle.

Can you let me know where the brass ejects to. I am left handed and have been thinking about the same gun you have, I just dont want to collect hot brass down the shirt.

I am left handed too but shoot mainly RH rifles besides about 4 and I have a 270 like this too. The brass ejects out the right side almost parallel with the slot. thanks and I post pics of how it shot later today.

I took her to the range today and had some pretty amazing results with my 1st load for it. The 100 yd side of the range was slap full of dads with their children so I shot the 200 yd. It was pretty tough to focus at that distance with a 3x9 scope but I got a real good group. Just thought I'd share some pics of the 5 shot group excluding the 2 flyers to get me on line. It looks like 4 shots in the group but 3 are touching and 2 are in the same hole.

Must be luck, according to some here, BLR's are junk and incapable of shooting accurately. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Now, for the rest of us interested in real world firearms and results - congrat's! That's a coyote killer for sure. Have ya painted it yet? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

No paint is going on this baby /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif

Good group, what caused those powder burns. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Kidding. They do offer one in stainless/brush camo it just costs more.

How is the trigger? The main complaint I've heard is the trigger pull and due to the design not much can be done to lighten it. A BLR would feel right at home sitting next to my Sweet Sixteen and 16ga Citori.

the tigger is no timney or shilen but it is crisp I'd guess around 4 lbs. Its by no way has any creep for a factory trigger Id say its nice.

Nice looking rig, should be hard on the coyotes. I'm a lever fan also but mine are Sav. always thought I'd like to find one in 22-250(they did make some).

Tell me about "pretty tough to focus at that distance with a 3x9". 200 yds should be a prime distance for a 3x9 Bush 3200.

Im too use at shooting target with a 6x18 leupold at 100 yd to get my good groups. 200 seems far to me thinking about switching the scope out.
