JD Same here. I have a .264 LBC on order and want/need the brass catcher. I've got 200 rounds of Lapua brass and don't want to loose any of that stuff.

Mike at Dtech builds some of the most accurate 6x45's out there. If you really want the best speed and accuracy with 55-65 grain bullets I imagine he will say 1-12 twist. That is what he wanted to set me up with. I din't end up going that route as I prostaffed for BHW for a short time. I think I would go with a 1-10" P3 in either 18-20" if you really want the speed. I had an 18" P5 and a 16" P3. Both shot clovers with 70 grain NBT's and AA2015.

I have a 6x45 AR with a Shillen 24" barrel, 1 in 8 twist. I have shot steel at 1k yards. You have to listen carefully to hear the bullet hit the steel. I use 85gr Sierra bullets for long distance. Today, I let a rookie shoot the gun with 70gr Nosler ballistic tip. He shot a 5 shot one hole group. 6.45 is very accurate! The 70gr Nosler bullets are [beeep] on dogs.

Here's is a picture of the brass catcher I got from Rebo on here and works awesome.

Here are my chrono speeds of my 6x6.8 today with 31.5gr of 8208 and 58 vmax

Ivet, I'd really like to here about your 6x45 bolt guns & what you have to do to convert & who did it. Thanks,

Sorry, I was wrong on the price. They are more than $5, but still well worth the pice from reb8600.
I have caught 5 pieces of .223rem brass. They weigh nothing and I think will be out of the way enough to hunt with efficiently.

Not sure how to link the thread but this is the title. If you put hunters brass in the search at the top, you'll see his thread with pictures and pricing. Send him a pm and he'll get one to you.

Email sent your way.

well it will take a bit of time for a new barrel I have a lot of 15 framed shooters from .204 to .30 like them all there like screw drivers you need many different styles to get the job done I have a real love for the 6x45 nice light recoil quick follow up and good to well over 300 plus meters @ 45 thru 65 grain as for the 6/6,8 it has some issues with bolt life and brass damage and a bit more recoil so follow up is not quite as fast and that's way you shot a simi-auto I have purchased a lot barrels over time from most makers and they all seem to be reputable and want the customer to be satisfied

I've broken as many 6.8 bolts as I have 223 and 7.62X39. That would be exactly zero. I have a mutitude of ym8 brass with over a dozen firings and it's still going strong.
