New Coyote Rifle lookin at DPMS

Since i'm on the AR thread you guys would probably say AR's are better for coyote hunting. But would you rather have an AR in 223 or a bolt action in 223 (22-250 if i could find it)???

Benson,
Took me about 10 years, but I now have both! CZ 527 in .223 and AR. Not hunted with the AR yet, but I look forward to it.

Right now I've got no complaints.

What kind of a Riser do you have for the scope mount?

rgm,
That is a Rock River Arms canitlever mount smacked right on the rail that came on the rifle. The scope appears high in the photo, but falls perfectly in line with my eye when the rifle is shouldered.

I have had the sportical for over 2 years now and don't have any complaints about it. I have shot both surplus, factory, and reloads out of it, without any problems. The only time I have had any jams was using a net brass catcher, which I think is normal. The trigger is not the best, and I had to buy an attachment to the glacier guards to attach a sling stud up front. I topped mine with iron sights and a Vortex Strikefire red dot. I planned to upgrade to a better upper when I bought the gun, but haven't seen any need to. For the money I don't think it can be beat.
