New game, What did this come out of?

So I was out hunting this morning and came across this. My boot is a 13. Here are the details. I ended up getting a ruler and measuring it and the largest peice was 7 inchs and all peices were 1 inch in diameter. I opened it and it was mainly full of hair and some small bone. It also appeared to have small stick fragments and possibly leaf fragments. It also had a musky oder to it. I am located on the gulf coast in se. Texas. So what do you guys think? I will leave my thoughts for later.

I'd say mt lion. Google "mountain lion scat" and you'll find a mess of pictures that looks just like yours.

It's ok yotezapper I laughed. I always do when I see a picture of sh*t somebody took. I can just picture it in my head that somebody is miles from his truck and comes across some random poop. Then runs back gets his camera, measuring stick, and knife to disect it before the sh*t runs away and escapes never to be found again.
