New Leupold Scopes!

Has anyone seen or heard about the new VX-R scopes Leupold came out with? They have a new illuminated firedot reticle & was wondering if anyone has opinions on them yet? Apparently they've done away with the old style & the new ones are motion activated and alot lighter! I seen one in 2X7X33 with a 30mm main tube that seems it would be excellent for a night hunting rig!

Their website doesn't show them! They are being sold on ebay, but I can't find any pics of what the new reticles look like. Listed as a new 2011 model on ebay. I almost had my mind made up on a night hunting scope, but I'm going to wait until I find more out about these!

While illuminated "sport dots" are not new, Mueller Sport Dots have been around for many years, the fact that it is pretty interactive in features is pretty cool! I don't know if most would need the different brightness setting in a TUBE red-dot, as most would either have it on, or off, and not need the additional settings. It's cool though, regardless. That's a pretty decent amount of technology into a little button on the side of the scope.

I have a few of the Leupold illuminated reticle scopes, and a Trijicon Accupoint. I'm digging the duplex with green dot on the Accupoints! No rheostat, no batteries, it's always there, except you can turn it off in the daytime. Optics seem pretty good to my tired eyes, too!
