Just something I made in half an hour, thought you might want to try it. If you make one and use it, please let me know how it goes. This is made of 1" thick board, is 4" high, 17" long, and 14" high. There are 2, 2" diameter holes on each end, and it holds 7 of any kind of mouse trap. The traps have pilot holes drilled into them, and are baited with peanut butter. You can even dab a little peanut butter at the entrance for extra scent. Make sure to face the bait stations in the way shown, so no mice get double caught, or spring one un-neededly.

good idea youngster. i think you will find that unless those traps are glued/screwed in place, a mouse not killed outright will set all or some of the others off.
 
I like the station. One tip from a guy that does a little pest control is to put your bait pan facing the wall as mice follow walls using their whiskers and have very poor eye sight. Keep it up and you might make a better mouse trap yet.

I'm trying to get as many mice as I possibly can, do you think this setup would work out placed in the woods randomly? As impossible as it may sound, I have about wiped out all the mice I can catch out of all of my sheds and barns (for now). I seem to catch lots of mice in my DP's during season and/or have them steal my bait, so I'm wondering if setting a few of these out in the woods would land me some good catches of mice? Who knows, I may just have to try it and find out.
 
If there are mice out there it will. If possible, and you know where the mice are, set them in those areas. But as long as they are out there it will catch them. They usually move a little looking for food, and have a great nose. Good luck.
 
Get you a five gallon pail, notch it, and put a dowel rod(1/2 inch) in notches. make a ramp or place dowel near travel route, put 6 inches of water in pail, smear peanut butter on middle of dowel. Never ending mouse trap.
I did like your idea, like a Mouse Motel, they check in, but they dont check out!
 
You need a herd of workin cats around your place. Any ideas for a roach motel. I have a few rentals that are overrun with cockroaches. I'm about to burn the joint down to get rid of them. Last people in there moved out in the night and took most of the d@mn kitchen with them. Cabinets and lights included. But they left roaches I didn't even know we had this big in WI
 
I used to use peanut butter for bait too....Bit-o-honey candy is the best. Soften a small chunk in the microwave and squish it on the bait pan. Will harden and cannot be removed. It will last for months and you won't have to keep rebaiting your mouse traps.
 
As for roaches...try Tempo SC. The best stuff I've ever used. Kills roaches, spiders, crickets, grasshoppers, scorpions, and a lot more....Can be ordered online. About one tablespoon per gallon of water out of a pump up sprayer. Can be used inside and out with hardly any smell.
