Mueller Optics releases the new 8.5-25x44AO with non-illuminated Mildot reticle. We developed this model based on your demands and now it's here and ready for immediate delivery. Based on the concept of it's counter partner the Eraticator, we received many requests for a similar version with a smaller objective and non-illuminated Mildot reticle. We are offering this new released model at an introductory price of only $150, which includes one FREE 3" Sunshade.

Just received Mueller's new scope today and got it mounted. My intial observations: Finish is very good, bright and clear all the way to 25X (no cloudiness at 25X), clicks are positive with an audible click sound, AO moves smoothly, a little stiff on power settings but that might be good, I really like the crosshairs (not to fine and the dots are small), eye relief is a little short as they say in their ad (you can notice how far back I had to mount it on the rings) and it isn't as bulky looking as the Eradicator. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
Should be able to get to test it at the range later in the week!

It isn't a sale, it is an introductory offer to get the scope out in the public for evaluation and exposure.

I would image it will end when they feel enough have been sold so that could be tomorrow?

Took the scope to the range today. Clicks were positive and adjusted correctly. I would guess the dot size to be about 3/8" at 100 yards on 25X and crosshair I would estimate at less than a 1/4". Surprisingly the AO adjustment was dead on at 100 yds and 200 yds, not to many scopes can say that. It's bright, clear and sharp. Shooting a 6mm/284 the eye relief wasn't a problem but it is pretty light recoiling in a 12 lb rifle. I give it a thumbs up!!

Any body know if mueller scopes are available in canada yet? tried to get one last year but there wasn't a dealer here and trying to get one shipped across the border is next to impossible.

I am really taking a liking to the Mueller scopes. My dad bought the Eradicator and mounted it on top of his Ruger M77 .308. It tracked very accuratly while we were sighting it in. Crystal clear image even on the highest power. I am going to get the 3-10 x 44 ot the 4-16 x 50 red dot scope next year for my calling rifle.

not to get of the subject about the scope sam but that is one nice looking rifle.i would love to here what componets make up this gun.thank's

I had an Eradicator and liked it but wanted a mildot. I think this is a better scope. I also have a Swift Premier 8-32X50 and thats a nice clear scope also but this one seems to be a grade up from that too!

For a long time we heard plenty negative feedback about Chinese made scope. I believe Mueller is made in China, is it not ?

It looks like China has made a huge jump in quality optics. Afterall, they just successfully launched and landed the second manned spacecraft last week and planned on a spacewalk in 2007. Soon Japan will have to make a run for her money if Chinese optics advances further. That gives us consumers more bang for the bucks.

I would guess at least some parts come from China. The way I understand it there is a several optics manufacturers in Asia (Korea, Philipines, China, Japan, etc) and they all farm work out to each other and exchange parts. Any of them will make a scope or optics of any quality and specs you want. Burris, Nikon, Simmons, Leupold, etc. etc. are all made in these same plants. I think the consumer is in a crap shoot on any optics he buys now days! Have you noticed that Burris has replaced their whole line and Simmons has done the same thing. Leupold has came out with some low end models, will this spill over into the rest of their line??

Tim, The only problem with that list is this is not a dealer offering. You should contact Mueller because they said they have an outlet in Canada where you can get this deal.
