Got this one yesterday. Rick Robbins call. Bought it on a whim just because I didn’t have one and never ran one. This thing sings! I have never let sounds rip on a steer horn before. Holy hell! This thing is loud! I've literally only ripped a few howls on it, but it sounds good. Going to need a little time adjusting to the toneboard. It locked up a couple times when I got too close to the high end. Pretty flat slope compared to most other calls I have. Bought it figuring it would be more of a show piece, but the way it sounds it might get some field use?

I haven’t had time to run it since posting this thread. I literally played around with it for a couple minutes. I thought it sounded great. Kind of “Throaty” if that makes sense. Deeper might be a better descriptor. It did lock up a couple times when I got near the end of the toneboard. Given the tone I suspect the design of the toneboard is where Rick wanted it. As in, not a pup screamer! Lol…

I didn’t find much out there for solid Horn howlers. Maybe Tony Tebbe still does? I didn’t dig all that hard though.
