I will not hunt with folks who chase coyotes with dogs
The dogs don't know property lines and from what I have seen and heard these hunters are shooting from the road shooting coyotes on property they don't have permission to hunt on and that just makes it tough on folks like me that want to get permission to hunt there
 
ive never run the dogs my dad told me that alot of ppl in coshocton do that. i use a foxpro spitfire and im buyin couple mouth calls just ordered rabbit in distress and a female whimper. lookin to get a lone howler. i just got back from gettin permission on a big farm connectin to my bosses property look pretty promising. says he hears them all the time and shot 3 around sept of last year while he was workin.

I was hunting public land today had one come in but he spotted my pardner done a 180 and no shots fired
 
yea that sounds good. ive never had one come in. not enough experience i think lol. u ever use a siren to locate evening b4 u go in and call?
 
I heard a pack of yotes across the road from the house last night at about 830. I snuck back into the woods and seen deer and turkey running for their lives! lol. No yotes though; did see some eyes in the edge of the wood line.
Maybe they heard my new goat and got hungry for goat meat, lol.
 
I would watch that goat Bobby. With them denning up, they will be looking for a easy meal.

lol....yeah, the yotes want my goat. The wife came home yesterday at 630'sh and a yote was in the side yard circling down to the barn where the goat is. She ran the car into the yard trying to hit it, lol.
She made me build a goat fort for it...they will have to be really good to get my goat now, lol.
 
Put a electric fence around it. It worked for us when we had out chickens and ducks.
