HaHa!! Keep it up Buddy! I wouldn't bring the wife. All I need is for her to show me up. I would NEVER live it down. I may have another guy interested in shooting with us. He got a SX AR a while back and wants to play a little with it

I have a question for you Ohio guys. Can you recommend any public land to hunt within 20-30 miles of Columbus? I'm going to be up that way towards the end of August for a wedding and was planning on doing some calling while I'm up there. Thanks
 
You can drop south of Columbus and hit paint creek state park up. They have a lot of fields right where paint creek enters the lake. You can pull it up on the state DNR website and check out a Map. I'm sure there are more places but that's the only place I have hunted up that way.
 
You might look into licking county (east of cbus) also. There may be some land to hunt that way. Depending where in columbus you will be I think you will find some options. Route 70 will take ya east and west out of cbus and of course 71 or 23 will get ya north and south.
 
Cityslicker...my uncle has some land down around Loisville. He invited me down to hunt. He said he had yotes, bobcat, and deer there. When is the best time to hunt down there? I know Bobcats have a season starting in Nov if I remember right.

I can't really say what the best time is, but I'd say any time really. They're reacting now, but you have to deal with the heat and ticks. Yeah bobcat season comes late November.
 
Ill have to find out. It is outside of Louisville is all I know.

Dusty, I guess Jason works with my bro in law. He talks to him quite often and it wasnt till last week I made the connection.
