New Portable Shooting Blind..........The Hog Condo

I have decided at age 71 that my open field stalking and standing for hours days are no longer viable with a full ankle replacement and bad knees so I came up with another option.

I went up to the factory at a local trailer company and we put together a custom trailer for a Redneck hunting blind so I can move it around to different locations. Redneck blinds makes this mounting stand specifically for trailers so that made the project much easier. I also opted for a long enough trailer to provide for a a side load ramp to carry my electric ATV if I want .

I have several solar battery units so I have fans and even a small AC unit to cool it off if it is heat soaked from the sun when I go in to hunt.

I installed an Arca-Swiss rail system in front of the 3 main forward shooing windows to hold my weapons and have also been using it to hold my scanner and view it on my phone via wifi so I don't have to hold it to my eye for hours.

lt has met and exceeded all of my expectations and I will use it to get back into some open field coyote hunting as well. We have tons of coyotes here and nobody I know of hunts them. I used to but got hooked on hog hunting and more or less gave it up.

We use box blinds a lot in Texas. I borrowed one similar to this. It Set flat on the trailer. Hogs showed up at the feeder but I couldn't get a decent shot, because of brush and tall grass and weeds. Standing ground level I figured the blind would be tall enough. Nope. So I like the fact that your blind is elevated. Awesome set you have Sir.
Your setup is better than what I used because the one I borrowed only had 3 stabilizers. 1@. Tongue and 2 at the rear of trailer. Hope for good hunting for you.

Thx. Elevation was a main consideration for this setup since I hunt a lot of hayfields. I have hunted out of the bed of my truck to help gain some height but the truck bed is not nearly as high as this new rig.
