Wish it had been available last month when i put the 4-12x40 on my Axis. Suggested retail $269.99 for the 6-18x44.

I think it would go good atop the new Ruger "American" rifle I am thinking of getting later this year. Probably .308 but havn't made up my mind yet.

Also have new 2-7x34, 3-9x42,3-9x52, and 4-12x42 in the new lineup.

I cannot find the 6x18x44mm redfield anywhere online did you mean 6x18x40??

Look on the Redfield website....

OK, got it--here it is--

The line rangefinding system is probably very similar to the older rangefinding reticle systems that is designed to bracket a certain tgt. size (16 or 18" for deer, and scaled differently for other tgt. sizes), and adjust the power until the tgt. brackets between the lines and read off the range along the reticle's vertical axis. The system's OK, but i prefer to use the lines below the center axis and use the mil-ranging formula at the optic's highest power...when i need it, which isn't very often at all really.

I'M A BIT LATE REPORTING IN HERE ON AN OLDER POST BUT RECENTLY BEEN LOOKING AT A REDFIELD SCOPE TO GO ONTO A HMR I HAVE.

Regarding MADE in the USA it appears the the Revolution range was infact made in the USA but the newer Revenge range is assembled in the Philippines.

The association with Leupold and their warranty gives them credability and I guess the outsourcing is why the price is low.

Some feed back regarding their ability in the field would be appreciated.

Does the 36 MOA adjustment range bother anyone? I have a Nikon and Vortex that have a lot more than that. Seems like a +20 MOA base would be needed for long range...

I always use the Burris Pos-Align rings and adjust with offset inserts to obtain as much as I can out of the turret. Maybe 30 MOA useable if you're lucky + reticle.
