As some of you know, I got a RAR Ranch 243 because my old RAR compact didn't have a threaded barrel and I bought a Lyman Paradox can

Well ,I have been out 4 times in July (only 1 set 1 night just because the neighbor bushhogged a pasture next to the barn and sometimes coyotes follow tractor noises). Total of 14 sets, 9 with the new gun.
Sunday night shortly after 3 it got to work. I was at the 3rd farm and 5th set of the night. Wind was a drift coming downhill in my face and the call is about 70yds uphill from me. You can see the dark blob (call) just to the right of #1.
I am tucked against a line of round bales. About 4min in there were 3 hard chargers coming over the ridge straight at me to a woodpecker. I mute, get the tripod moved to their direction (the quick shot was going to be my hard right), hit record, then 'went to work'. I get #2 stopped but 3 is having no parts of it!
I went to kiyi for a bit. Silence for maybe a minute then a couple different howls and a couple minutes of quiet. Next into a pup fight followed by pup distress when this adult male comes busting in about 8-9 minutes after the others came. I mute, record on, get him stopped with a couple barks/howls as he is boogered-he's barking back at me when he dies!
Younguns were about 70yds and he was 100ish. 55 NBTs made them all sound like a ballon when I picked them up.
