I was surprised myself that the 69 gr smk shot the smallest groups in my 1-12 twist 22-250. It's fine for shooting tiny 5 shot groups but I don't see any practical reason to shoot these in this rifle. I'm definitely taking the 53 gr vmaxes on the next prairie dog hunt. At altitude, these should remain supersonic to nearly 1,000 yards. All I will need is a day with no wind in Wyoming
