I would like to announce that Boondock-Outdoors is now an official distributor of the Jackite brand of bird kite/decoys. These decoys are just what the Doctor ordered for crow hunting. Used in conjunction with your normal decoy spread these decoys will add a level of realism never before seen in a crow decoy set-up. Here is a short video of the kite in action attached to a long fishing rod stuck in the ground. This video was taken before I received the windsock arms from Jackite. The prefered way to fly these kites is to attach them to a 7ft section of 1/2" PVC conduit with a special wind-sock arm attached to alow 360 swivel movement with the wind, the PVC can then be slid over a section of rebar stuck in the ground. The kite is then attached to the arm with about 5 feet of fishing line and two swivels. The wind is aproximately 6-9 mph randomly in this video. These kites fly themselves, after setup the shightest wind does the rest. Pricing is $12.95 for the bird and $3.95 for the special windsock arm. Shipping/Handling is $6.00.
I apologize for the quality of the video.
I can get any of the Jackite birds shown on their website www.jackite.com including the Falcon/hawk that would also be killer in a crow fight decoy setup. The benifet of ordering from me instead of direct is much cheaper shipping. Jackite charges retail customers $11.99 for shipping for just the kite, mine is $6.00 for the kite and the windsock arm.

Jackite also makes some awesome duck and goose kites so be sure to tell you waterfowl hunting buddies.

If you would like to place an order or have any questions please feel free to contact me either by private message here or by e-mail at boondockoutdoors@verizon.net

Thank you for taking the time to look,

Levi,
I have not gotten a chance to hunt over these yet due to having a new baby, but I do have a guy using one very local who says he is slaying them while using it. however he does not have a digital camera to take pics for me.

These are also perfect for states like Pennsylvania that do not allow the use of electronic decoys for crow hunting. Also I have never even seen a electronic decoy that produced this type of realism either.

Thank you,
Jeremiah Weber

All PM's have been answered and all orders have been processed and will ship in the am. Thank you.

I will try to get some videos up in the next few days of the duck and goose decoys for those who asked.

They are very durable and made of tyvek material. I take the crossbar out of mike and roll them up in a paper towel tube to transport to the field.

I have had one in my yard for three weeks straight through all the storms we have had and no signs of wear at all.
