New Show Mountain Men

Just when you think TV can not get and worse they come up with Mountain men. This Lion Hunter who is supposed to be hunting Lions with Walker Hounds and always worried about losing his dogs. Supposed to be hunting the old ways and every Hound is wearing s GPS Tracking Collar but the show never shows him tracking them just complaining about them being out of hearing. Then he makes a big deal of him making things safe by running the Lion off. Then there is guy living off the land by selling what looks to be posts. He sold what looked to be one pickup load to pay on his 40,000 loan. Another guy kills one Deer and expects it to feed him and his wife for three months. Give me a break. Some people will certainly believe this.
 
I've seen it. Yea the show cracks me up. Think it's 2nd season.

I like Tom though, hes a good 'ol boy.

I noticed the GPS collars on the dogs too, and he claimed to be old school. I sure as [beeep] wouldn't want my dogs runnin around out there with no collars on.

Them guys that live in Montana sure have some mighty good lookin country they call home.

It sucks that TV has to twist everything up and try to put unnecessary drama into it. Would probably be a good show if they just used straight facts.

The guy that is out in Virginia, the guy with the "debt", I can't stand.

Whattabout "Life Below Zero", seen it?

I saw just enough of the show, in order to see the guy run the cougar off.
I wondered to myself why, if he was hunting legally, he didn't just kill the cat instead of running it off, in the hopes that it wouldn't come back.

To me, it's no different than any other "reality show"...dumb.
I admit to enjoying Duck Dynasty. But it's the only one.

I admit to enjoying Duck Dynasty. But it's the only one. Duck Dynasty is a great show. A good honest family and its CLEAN television. Hard to come across these days. They show respect to the Almighty and they have a great deal of respect in my book.
 
The lion guy is supposedly chasing a lion that killed his dog. If it were me that lion would be mounted in my living room. I only watch the show because of tom and marty. Marty is a real deal trapper and a lot of the stuff they show is for drama, there is no way he would make a living trapping if his season went as bad as they make it out to be. It is the second season.
 
It would seem to me that the guy with the debt should be able to pay it off from the money they get from the show. They surely do not do the show for free!!

It's called job security, if he just runs it off it will come back and kill more livestock and he will get paid to "run it off again" What a joke, he gives true houndsmen a bad name by always speaking poorly about killing lions. I would like to meet the ranchers he works for. I did notice a lion claw around his neck so he must have killed one, lol
 
I like marty on there and the new guy and Tom is pretty alright. I think a lot of them are pretty good feloows but you know the TV people are gonn twist it to give it drama...i mean come on we all know the lion man could track his dogs and get them in less than an hour bt people wathcing that dont know what the tracking collars are really enjoy the anticipation of him losing his prized hounds.

They need to show more of marty but im sure there is already enough haters for Marty because he traps so they show him less and less.

And Eustace....well he shows some signs of smarts but once again the TV makes him seem like a complete idiot mostly
 
I have not seen sub zero, but anything has to be better than Mountain Men. I do like the Trapper but yall are right they show very little. That Hound guy is almost totally bogus. Who ever heard of a good hound that could be called off a Hot Track anyway. If I remember right Lions have a territory of something like 50 miles. So he is not running them off. I don't even like my kids watching stuff like that. That total Dumb @#$% that broke the saw had a hard time getting that done and anybody with any common sense at all would have known that log was going to pinch. All BOGUS

I liked the Duck dynasty show where instead of hunting they went to some obstacle course. My Wife asked me if Men really talked to each other like they did. I said no they are usually more vulgar and harassing than that, but it is close.
 
If you get a chance watch "life below zero". Might be on National Geographic. It's set way up north, above the arctic circle. There is a trapper on there named Erik, they do him justice pretty well. As for the others, well I just don't know.
 
There's an agenda behind these kinda shows. There ain't anything mountain about any of those characters. If you wanna see another show with some real yahoos watch mountain monsters
 
That one is to censored the show ''Life below zero'' shows people trapping and skinning hunting I like that one it's real.

never mentioned one thing about tracking systems. all of a sudden the dog comes over the hill, I thought his house was probably on the other side and they hollered at someone on the radio to turn the dog loose
 
The real injustice is the show "chasing tail". It's about bow hunters in New Hampshire or something that hunt in the suburbs.

And yes, Eustace is annoying.

I'm watching life below zero right now, jack!
