Finished up the sleave on my left arm about 6mos back and started working on my right arm today. Hand grenade in front of a heart. Im really happy with how it turned out.

While I appreciate the art form, I've never been able to come up with something I wanted on me permanently.

Looked and studied on it hard in my late twenties and walk out of the shop just like I came in.

Exactly what I was going to say.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Bill- thats the hardest part for me as well.

The heart and the grenade I had drawn it while I was 15 in high school. It was gonna be my first tattoo but I never got around to it.

Feels good to finally get it.

As a matter of fact yes i do!

everyone has a story behind a tattoo, i guess some of mine do, but A LOT of them was just money burning a hole in my pocket! i have one on my neck that never got finished and i DESPISE it.
I have nothing against tats but i dont see me getting anymore in the future. just a personal choice

Thanks for the honesty.

Ya ever feel like maybe you had not been picked for a job because of them. Do they say anything about them or prefer you cover them up where you work now?

Not a thing. I drew it up in high school.

Not a single tattoo I have has any meaning behind it whatsoever.

Im not gonna bother preaching to the non-tattoo community. If you dont have ink its something that you will never understand.

Im self employed so it doesnt matter how many tats I have or where they are at.

After having tattoos looking at them is just like looking at anything else, a new scar, mole, etc.

A lot of them have a meaning, I was just curious. I got an eagle on my right shoulder right after I turned 18, nearly 22 years ago. Always wanted another....

i only cover them at church or a new job interview! i dont like to show them off in posts with harvested game either! I usualy do factory work, i worked at gm in lake orion michigan for a while and they seem to typically not care in that line of work. our pastor told me one time to stop wearing long sleeve shirts and just let it ride. if they dont accept you than whatever!.

but yes i cover them in pictures alot! other than that i walk around in short sleeve t shirts or whatever.
