New USMC camo

I would wait, the new ARMY camo is close to the same, but the design is much better, and more practical, with more pockets

Spoke to my brother in law this morning to see if he has seen any digital camo around. He just retired from the Army and has taken a civilian job at Ft Benning. He said the Army should have the new digital camo out soon. He said the USMC digital camo is real nice and looked good in the desert of Iraq. I found several locations of the USMC digital camo but it is not the USMC issued clothing. The issued clothing is alot more durable and better quality. I checked some online surplus stores in Calif to see if anyone has the digital camo but none in my size. I am looking for a XL Shirt and XL/XXL[not many fat Marines around] pants in desert USMC digital camo if anyone runs across some. Thanks Randy

The USMC cammo is called Marpat. I think you can only get the "real stuff" from Marines. I have seen it on ebay and other places online. The legit marpat has a small Eagle, Globe and Anchor in the pattern.

Count me in for wanting some, it looks like it would work great where I hunt.

As previously mentioned, the USMC is the only place to get Marpat -- at least the original, with the globe, etc., in it. The Tru-Spec line of military-spec gear has a copy that is identical except for the globe/anchor insignia, comes in all sizes (up to at least 3XL), and works quite well. You can find it at their website,

Good stuff!

That link isn't working for me either. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

That's the right site, I took it straight from the link I used to get there a few days ago. It does appear to be down now, though -- don't know what to make of that.

You might want to do a search for Tru-Spec BDU's, there are alot of places that sell them. Hope this helps -- good luck!
