Night calling in the East

I have small farms to call on, usually big fields surrounded by small woods. I'd like to call the fields but I think I'd be backdoor by the yotes. There are acouple of trees in two farms that I could call for and really like this one farm for calling in the field.
But the other field, there is a tree but WWAAYYY out in the fields. The yotes do cross the field but at the top of the hill which is about 300 yards or so. With all the woods being east from the tree. The farm on the west side, but yotes do at times pass through the farm and follow the lane by the tree to the woods.
How on earth do I call there??!!! Do I sit at the tree or lay down in the field? At the edge of the field and hope to not be back doored by the yotes? How do you call those kind of woods?
For those who live in ohio and have those kind of situations you probally know what I'm dealing with.....
How do I call? I really want to get a yote and call at night but have no idea where to set up.

All info greatly welcomed!!
