Night eyes vs Wicked

I am looking to buy a headlamp and gun light. Let me here what your opinions is on these two brands and which would you choose and why...

Night eyes for me. First off, Joe the owner of night eyes is a member here, easy to get in contact with and firmly stands behind each and every product.
Unlike the wicked website states, night eyes lights are not rebranded lights.

The night eyes lights have brightness settings from 10% to 100% instead of three settings. And the night eyes scan light holds a favorite you can switch to with one touch of a button.

Price is within $5 do that didn't matter to me.
I have left my headlamp out in the snow and freezing rain and it's always worked. I'm sure they will both work to kill predators but after placing a few orders and a couple phone calls asking questions to the night eyes guys I won't go anywhere else

I had Nighteyes headlamp and gun light when they first came out. Both were quality lights, I'd still be running them but have access to custom lights and like to tinker. I like the fact he's stayed simple with his gun lights and hasn't offered a zoom light. I currently run a zoom light and set it and forget it, very seldom do I adjust it in the field. Joe's lights follow that philosophy and his success in the field proves they work.

I have a buddy with the wicked and on the highest setting they seem to be the same. Didn't do any real testing though. But I never ever call with my light on high. 50% is as high as I go. They are shy here and I can see an incoming fox at over 500 without cranking it all the way up so I never felt the need

We do not use spherical lens in our headlamps. We use an orange peel reflector to not only defuse the light but to reflect the light in different directions. Even though you may not notice the light beam it will pick up coon eyes in tree tops several hundred yards away while shining the light beam only a few feet off the ground. This disbursement of light also helps with your concealment and conditioning the predator as he is approaching. Our single beam headlamp weighs just over 6 ounces to include the battery. The dual color beam is just over 7 ounces. You can change colors by just a push of a button on our dual beam. There are 10 brightness settings with memory for both colors. It is completely submersible and tested to -42. We have a low battery warning when the battery is down at 8%, it will not dim with usage. If for any reason you are not satisfied within 14 days we will refund your money to include your return shipping costs.

When scanning with my headlamp I rarely go over 50% brightness and can see eyes reflecting well over 300 yards. If you are looking for a magnifying, focusable light than our lights are not for you. You should pick the light that best fits your hunting style. I am sure you will be satisfied with which ever light you choose. If you should have any question please feel free to call me anytime between 9 am and 7 pm eastern time 7 days a week.

Joe
