Nightforce Velocity reticles:
Ballistic reticles for big game hunting to 600 yards

No guessing. No complicated or confusing calculations. And deadly accurate. Sight in your rifle once, and you're good to 600 yards. No more estimating holdover, no wondering how high to sight in, no need for cumbersome drop charts in the field.

Our new V reticles are up to twice as fast as traditional ballistic reticles, and applicable to virtually any hunting caliber. Aim points are clearly marked from 100 to 600 yards, plus five and ten mph windage compensation is also indicated. Illumination is standard, as it is with all Nightforce reticles. The Velocity reticles are available only in our NXS 2.5-10x24 and 2.5-10x32 Compact scopes.

NXS 2.5-10 x 32
Our Compact NXS series with 24mm objective lenses has proven that a scope needn’t be massive to provide exceptional performance. In fact, our customers tell us they find the clarity, resolution and image quality superior to competitors’ scopes having much larger objective lenses.

So, you can imagine the performance you’ll enjoy with our new 2.5-10 x 32. We designed it to answer the requests of hunters for a larger objective lens with even more low-light capability, yet in a compact, lightweight, streamlined instrument that complements—not overwhelms—a hunting rifle.

Our Compact NXS scopes were originally created for U.S. Special Forces for use with night vision devices, which should tell you something about their capability. Our new 2.5-10 x 32 has no parallax concerns; a larger exit pupil makes for faster target acquisition; and at just 12 inches in length and 19 ounces, it represents the optimum ratio of size-to-weight performance.

Like crafting a fine watch, building a small riflescope that outperforms most larger, bulkier scopes demands a commitment to tolerances, materials, and innovative optical design few scope companies have the resources—or the desire—to make.

I am getting ready to order one but need to decide which reticle will be best of the velocity reticles.

I have one on a AR in 17 Remington. I have done minimal shooting with it at 100 at 200 yards. Waiting for better weather, love it so far though.

No I opted for the High Velocity Reticle. After talking with the dealer I also did not get the zero stop because it would kinda defeat the purpose of the reticle.
