Nightforce scope rings and Badger reducers

Here is the deal. I just ordered a model 70 extreme weather. Eventually I want to buy a scope with a 30 mm tube and a 50 mm obj. But for now I am all tapped out. So I need to mount a scope I currently have on it. It is a 1" tube. I was thinking rather than buy a set of 1" rings that I will only use for a while, I would get some 30 mm's and use some reducers. then when I get my new scope I don't have to buy new rings. I was leaning toward the Nightforce ultralight rings, but they don't make reducers. Badger makes reducers that say they will fit any rings with a width of 5/8". Does any one know how wide are the Nightforce rings? Will this work out for me or should I buy the badger rings to go with their reducers? I was leaning toward the Nightforce because of they weigh less. Also I have a Nightforce base. How do I determine for sure what Hight rings will work best.

I just put the dials on a set of NF Ultrlights. They're both exactly .625.

Dimensions in the pic for low, medium, high (1.125), high (1.265) and X-high - 1913 base to ring center.

Just as a follow up on the question about Badger reducers in Nightforce rings, they do work but they require a little bit of modificating. If you look at the Nightforce rings in the picture above they get wider at the base, it is hard to tell but the Badger reducers contact there holding them up slightly. I just took a dremel to them and made them work.
