Nightforce throw lever

I just gotta new NXS 5.5-22x56 that's mounted on my 260 Rem AR 10. Sorry, no pics yet. I find that I like to zoom in on Coyotes when I have the time. My question is: Are guys running throw levers on these, and if so what kind? I've found a few things online, but most seem to be for the compact versions. Maybe their the same? Anyway, I'd like a few opinions before I drop $70 on a tiny piece of steel.

You paid how much for the scope and you are worried about 70 bucks? Come on. They probably work great and you will be glad you have it....just buy it.

Really, you're gonna pull that? If you don't have information to add, stay off the thread. Yeah, I paid 2k for scope and rings, but I did it after much research and careful consideration. No, I don't give a $hit about 70 bucks, but I don't spend money on products that are useless or ineffective either. I know there are a lot of guys on here that run that scope or a similar nightforce and several of them probably run a throw lever. I like to learn by the mistakes of others so I'm asking for a little feedback.

There is absolutely nothing stupid about that rationale. I have been considering these rings as well for my ar in 6.5 grendel. The thing is, I'm sure they are fine for a .223, but I want to know that they are going to stay in place on a rifle that has the ability to shoot much further like the .308 or 6.5 grendel. What I found were the GG&G B-Comp rings. The guys at Precision Tactical swear that they are worth the extra $. I haven't purchased them yet, but I will soon.

Why wouldn't the throw lever made specifically for the Nightforce not be great and the ideal one to purchase? I was serious about you buying one. Okay my comment about how much you spent on the optic was cynical, but even that has a lot of truth to it. I know you are a good caller and a serious coyote hunter due to many of your threads here and you sound like you run the best gear you can afford. I have seen the zip tie things and like all things that are not made specific to an application, work for some and not for others. Good luck and post how they worked for you if you buy them.

MGM makes a quality product -- the Switchview. I have one for my compact NF.

You want Model 1692SV2R3V1 - Switchview™ Lever [1692SV2R3V1] for your 5.5-22. It's $60.

You can see it here. .

I also am experimenting with the Breakaway Coaster on a calling rifle. No problems so far. It looks like MGM is also making a low end injection molded product like the Coaster now too.

I recieved mine but can't get it to work on my nikon monarch. It seems the adjustment ring is to narrow. Hopefully it'll work on a leupold.

Ordered breakaways. They work great. I ordered 4 and there was some confusion on their part as to how many to send me. Quick call to customer service and they had the correct amount on the way. They are a little bigger than I would have liked, but on my Nightforce they don't look out of place. On a smaller scope I think they would just stick out too far and look out of place. Since the whole eye piece turns when you adjust the scope power on a Nightforce, it's easy to put the breakaway in a good secure place. On a Nikon with the power ring that just has a little bump, I'm not sure it would work.
