Nikon Buckmaster 4-12x50

Does anyone use one of these on their AR? I like the idea of a 50mm objective, but I thknk it will sit to high. Any opinions?

I have one on my Rem bolt action .308 win. I love the scope. On one of my .223 ars, I have an older Redfield 4-12x40. That is the biggest scope I would put on an ar, 40 objective. The objective does get big. I have mine set on a Wilson Combat base. It keeps the scope at a higher level. If you would go with a lower set of rings, it would keep the objective lower than my 40 objective

 
I have a nikon monarch 4-16x50 and it works great especially in low light. I used leopold rings and the risers I can't recall the brand but the fit is perfect.
