I had of these new buckmasters, I got it from cabelas in November 2014. I was not impressed, the glass was worse than my buddies prostaff 5 in all conditions, especially low light. It was also huge, and I could see one of the screws that held it together from the inside whenever I looked through it slightly off center. Luckily I did OK unloading it on eBay, but I feel these are definitely a lower tier scope sold for price point events like black Friday. They are not even mentioned on Nikon's own website!

Yep. We just had a nightforce nxs that looked off center. Anyone can screw one up, it is how they treat you when they do that matters. I have scopes from 39.99 simmons on up to some good glass but not top of the food chain. They all serve their purpose. Nikon monarchs and bushnell elites and luppys are still my go 2 models.
