Nikon coyote special scope

Anyone shoot with one of these scopes on a rifle? Whats your opinions of the scope. Reason I ask is I just traded my brother in law for a mod 70 with heavy stainless barrel in 22-250 and thats the scope it has on it. The scope or gun have never been fired except for whatever the factory tests are for the gun. It has leupold mounts and rings also.

There's a bunch threads discussing that scope here. I bet if you went back in the pages you would find more than enough reading on it. There was a big one not but a month or so ago.
 
I used mine this past week-end ... it will get you by I reckon.

To me, the peep hole reticle is a no-brainer. The eye seems to "auto focus" on it, making target acquisition effortless. Granted, it is different than tradition cross-hairs, and it does take some time getting use to. However, the learning curve is very short-lived.
 
Awesome scope!! For hunting !!! Don't be discouraged from the results on paper.. It's difficult to achieve tight groups on paper due to the circle reticle.. But it is a predator slayer!!! Hunt/kill with confidence!!
