has anyone seen , held or mounted and shot w/ this scope, interested in one but cant find one to look at. not at my local cabelas, sportsmans, bass pro or any of the little guy shops, only place i found it for sale was on opticsplanet, would like some feed back at least before i order.... any help???

have not seen that one but the loopy mark AR operates on the same principle....bdc out to 500 and also has a 1-5 dial-in using 55 grainers.

I could be wrong but I don't think they will be released until July. Anyway I would like to hear a review also. Been eyeballin them for a while now.

i ordered one a couple of days ago ,was told by dealer it would take 4-5 weeks to get it, and this is a really good dealer. im going to put it on an old bushmaster, try it out as a coyote gun.never been a fan of the .223 but thought i would give it a try. maybe i can figure out why so many people like the .223.

I have to ask.........What's not to like about the .223? Unless you are referring to using it for game other than the small variety like coyotes on down. Which it will kill any coyote between me and 300 yards with the quickness.

I looked at one and held it in my hands this morning. Glass was extremely clear. Looked well built which is pretty normal for Nikon. The scope had a 1" tube. Reticle was cool looking, but a little busy. ARF DOES NOT come with the scope, you have to order it from Nikon, but its free. It came with scope covers and they seemed OK. Price-$449.95

i gave the nikon 223 scope a try in wyo. last week and the one i used would not hold a zero for more than 2-4 shots and every time i laid it down the zero changed, i checked every thing i could think of and the scope just wouldnt work. including rifle, mounts ,rings,i really wanted it to work but no luck. at this point i couldnt recommend the 223 nikon scope.i am taking it back to dealer and see if i can try another one. will report in the future.rio7
