I have a Monarch on my AR with no complaints, but have no experience with a Leupold. My limit is between $500 - $600ish so please, I can't afford a $1,200 scope. Thanks.
I have couple BDC I am phasing out and going to nikoplex. The BDC adds to much clutter in my scope and for larger animals it might be alright for some, But I would rather range the target and turn the turrets and fire. Not knowing about prairie dog hunting but I am thinking the BDC reticles on the nikon would not be a good choice for the small rodents. Might consider the nikoplex over the BDC in your choices for the smaller targets. The prarie dog hunters would know for sure.
