Has anyone tried a nikon prostaff

I have 2-8,3-9,4-12 not an issue with any.

I do not have the 2-7 but I do have a couple 3-9x40 prostaff models that I really like. Good scope for the price range.

The old model Prostaffs were a good buy. The new model Prostaffs are a great buy. Nikon changed the issues people had with the old model. The new model has fast focus, finger adjustable windage and elevation, and better glass, so everything is good to go. It compares favorably with the older Buckmasters. I have the new model 2-7x32 and it is very bright. I also have two of the older 3-9s. The difference is very noticeable.

Just ordered one in 4-12 from basspro. Hope it works out well! Can't beat it for 160 bucks.

Got an e-mail yesterday natchez has a nikon refurbish sale with some good savings.

I have Prostaff 2-7's on both my 6.8 SPC and my 6x45 and both are excellent scopes. I really like the 2-7 power for calling rifles. I had a Weaver V3 and while it was very clear and had a HUGE field of view, I like to have at extra scope power to snipe a crow with when I'm having trouble getting coyotes to come in.
