Who has a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 scope with Butler Creek Covers? And will that person please give me the size of the covers they are using? Thank you very much.

if u have a cabelas book they have size charts u stick your scope on

Please note that Butler creek's chart numbers were all screwed up for quite a while...the cap# on their chart did not correspond to the scopes' sizes in MM as listed on the package's chart.
Maybe Butler Creek has fixed that, but be sure to measure your scope tube ocular and objectives with a dial caliper first and record the measurements, and measure the ones at the store as well (IF they let you open the package).
If you can't open the package, buy them and measure them in the car after exiting the shop...if wrong size, take them right back in.

obj. outside diameter on a PROSTAFF 3-9x40 is 47.3 mm or 1.86 inches.
