Picked up my first suppressor today. It's an Omega 300. Got my approval at 6:30 this morning and had it in my hands by 11AM. My turn around time was 8 days. Not as quick as my buddies. His was approved in 24 hours. But it sure beats the 12 month waits some of you had to go through.

Only problem is it won't be your last.
Check out Airlock Zero Gravity cans. I have 2 of them now, and they are ridiculous. They suppress as well as cans that are 2/3 longer and 3x heavier.
Not meant for long strings of target shooting, but on a hunting rig? Perfect.

Got mine today, now for the rain to stop. Well, maybe a little more rain - 3 3/4" today and more tonite. Took about an hour - to get GOA # and fill out 4473.

I had to go through the prints and photo and all the rest of the paperwork. Even did a 4473 before they would release the can. No one in my part of the world is doing just the 4473 yet so you have to play the game. Not a big deal as I've waited this long, a little longer didn't matter. I would like to get another suppressor for a rimfire later on.

My first suppressor was a 30 cal LPM Anthem s2. That was 5 cans ago! Now i have that, two 6/22’s and three rimfire cans! Enough that when me and my two boys go shoot, rim or centerfires, all of us can be suppressed. Way more fun now!
