The 25 cal has had a resurgence in popularity like never before. With the exception of a few loyalists and reloaders it was a caliber that was essentially DOA until recent years. I think the Sierra/Blackjack 131's kind of got the ball rolling then Berger and Hornady jumped in with their mid 130 grain bullets and that really seemed to pump new life into the 25 caliber world. There's been a ton of new quarter bore rifles built the last five years in a variety of different wildcats and even a couple new factory offerings but I think the vast majority of them are being built to shoot the high BC mid 130 grainers and not so much for the lighter varmint bullets which is probably why we don't hear much about 25 cals around PM.
I am one that checks the box of having zero interest in anything .257 but it didn't take long for those mid 130's to get my attention and I jumped onboard and had a 25 RSAUM built. Mine isn't really a predator/varmint build but I am launching 134 ELD-M's 3200 so it's no slouch and I'm pretty sure it'd put a pretty good smack down on them if I ever used it for that.
