Hey, I resemble that remark.
Wearing glasses sucks wearing a mask. I wear a mask, but it is normally one I made that fogs my glasses as little as possible. When I was younger and my beard not so white, I rarely wore one. But that was then.

I wear a half-face mask to cover nose down and a hat to shade the upper part. If I leave my nose exposed, glasses don't fog. I got contacts last year to solve that problem anyway. Then again, I was wearing the hat in my avatar when I shot that coyote at 80 yards...

If my neighbor doesn't want them, I generally just leave them. I don't like shooting and leaving, but I also don't skin 'em anymore.

With the headcover that came with my sapper suit, I removed the mesh that you look through and split the lower part about 2" so my breath can escape. I took a ballcap that the whole top was made of netting and sewed netting to the bill to hide my face. It's a little cloudy now, so I may get to try it out this evening.
Nobody here will pay anything for coyote hides. They never get heavy and most are nasty looking. I hunt them for the fun and maybe to save a few rabbits and fawns.

I was in Cabela's last year and found a camo hat that has a mesh netting that drops down over the face, but stays far enough away that my breathing doesn't fog my glasses and still allows good visibility...

If the weather is cold, I have to wear a mask of some kind to keep the cold air from hitting my lungs, so I really have no choice there..

I don't wear a mask at all.
During cold weather I have a full beard thats 3 or 4
different colors.

Rest of the year I'm covered by flies, ticks and chiggers.

Quote:i always wear one no matter what im hunting I tried that in my younger years but the Blonds, Redheads, and most Brunettes tended to shy away unless they were really drunk...

A mask, and camo in general, is not necessary AT ALL when hunting with an electronic caller that is placed away from you. You're basically ambushing the predator as it responds to your e-caller some distance from you.

Not necessary at night either.

But if you use hand calls, a mask and camo can help conceal your features from predators that are looking directly at the source of the sound they were attracted to (your face). They are actually hunting/stalking your face as they come in. So you are very likely advantaged to conceal yourself and your head/body movements with clothing or shade or terrain.

Yes/no on the mask or camo all depends on your hunting tactics.
