I absolutely hate that commercial, but wouldn't want it to end like this. RIP Flo.
Progressive Insurance's Flo, Stephanie Courtney, Dies In Traffic Accident

Stephanie Courtney -- best known for playing the advertising character Flo in television and radio commercials for Progressive Insurance -- was killed in New York late Monday night in a deadly car accident. She was 44.
According to police, Courtney was driving alone around 10pm when her Lexus LX left the road and crashed into a road divider. Reports indicate that she was wearing a seat belt at the time. No other vehicles were involved.
Police say that Courtney's vehicle hit the divider causing it to flip on it's side. A passing motorist who witnessed the accident pulled Courtney from the wreckage and attempted to resuscitate the comedian.
The unidentified motorist was unsuccessful and Courtney died at the scene. Police don't believe alcohol or drugs were involved.
Reports indicate that Courtney had dinner with a friend at a popular cafe near Rockefeller Center around 9pm, just prior to the accident.
Before beginning her role as Flo in a series of Progressive Auto Insurance commercials in 2008, Stepanie Courtney, a New York native, broke into television commercials with a Bud Light beer ad on a Super Bowl and went on to appear in commercials for Skittles, SC Johnson Glade products, General Mills, and the Wienerschnitzel restaurant chain.
When asked about her role as Flo, Courtney said:
Me at my silliest. You start off with a script, but at the end they usually let me put a little zinger in there. Flo could be one of my improv characters, always on and sort of cracked in a weird way.
Courtney was a member of The Groundlings, an improvisational and sketch comedy theater in Los Angeles, California and has appeared in such films as The Brothers Solomon, Blades of Glory, The Heartbreak Kid, Melvin Goes to Dinner, and Fred: The Movie.
