I don't think you'll find a non toxic shot in size "#4 buck". Seems like when you get into the bigger size non toxic pellets they are referred to with a letter designation. Like BBB, T, and F.
Remington high density in either T or F would be the closest diameter to #4 lead coming in at .200 and .220 respectively.

I did see they have a 3-1/2" 00 buckshot load from heavy shot!! WOW WOW!!!
A year or two ago I seen they were making slugs out of that stuff. Not sure what came of them. Only seen them in magazines a couple times then nothing.

I am in a non-toxic area for shotshells, and i have about zero experiance with non-toxoc shotgun ammo really. I am trying to figure out what is best to use in that flavor. I know that Heavy Shot makes it, but was trying to see if anyone used anything else that isnt $4 a shot. I will get that if thats all there is but was just seeing what is out there bein used by these fine Gentleman
thats kind of what i figured, thanks Tim. I guess you got to pay to play, ill just have to pny up and buy some. the worst part is shooting $4 a shot ammo to pattern your shotgun.
I have used 10ga Rem TT yes double T steel and wow! 75 yards coyote no problem!
I would try to find T or F 3.5 12 if you can take it in steel...I think you will love the tight patterens and the 25 rnd's for less then the 10rnd DC non tox stuff just a thought my friend!

Try to stay away from steel. Gets caught up in their hair. I've tried it.
I have had great luck with steel not getting caught in fur,
the best was Kent Fast steel for me and I think that is do to the fact that they plate it twice!
I got 2 boxes of Remington HD BB's on sale for $15/box. Tried them yesterday and hammered a coyote at 40-45 yards. I hit her in the back end on the first shot and flipped her. I hit her good the second time as she tried to get up and she dropped dead and did not move. Good stuff!
I would love to try some of the hevi shot for yotes but i just cant see spending $36 a box for 10 shells.
i picked up some 00 buck in Winchester at wally world that was $12 for a box of 10 ill stick with them
