Northern NV conditions

My nephew and I had great times in NV at the last two conventions and it is really convenient for us to meet there.

Anyone that can give a heads-up on the conditions? Did it get hit hard by the drought this year?
 
We will see what others say. It's been record breaking hot around the areas this year.

I haven't seen any this year but i haven't been out as much this year either.
 
its been hit by horrific drought. I actually got my struck stuck in powder dust because it was so dry. sage is crispy as [beeep], bunnies are all dead and coyotes are very very thin.
 
Well maybe we can save a few from starvation and they won't be so hard to drag back to the truck. Sounds like prey sounds should work well.

I haven't been to NV this year but hoping to head that way soon.

AWS I read somewhere that they added power to all the campsites at the South Fork East Campground but charge $10 more per night. Still one of the cleanest campground facilities I've ever stayed at and hope the convention lands in Elko again.

Let us know how how you do if you make the trip.
 
I liked that campground also. Last year they were working on the sights and had the showers shut down so we stayed in a BLM campgrounds and liked it also.
