I was at gander mountain today looking for some supplies, and the only 6.5mm bullets they had were Nosler 120gr ballistic tip. I dont recal anyone ever mentioning using these bullets in the 6.5mm. I have used them in .224 with great results. Anyone here use them in 6.5mm. I was thinking they might be a good choice in my Remington with the 1-9 twist. Thanks Lee

I have used them reloading for a friend's 260 Rem. I've been quite impressed with them. What cartridge are you looking at using these with?

I have been using them for years in my .260 Rem. I can not think of 1 bad thing to say about them. Very good accuracy and expansion performance on deer sized game. I have some deer exits that I could fit my hand in.

Never recovered one at .260 Remington velocities...

Heck no! Its called FULL ENERGY DUMP. The core that makes it through leaves a sizable exit. 2 blackbear over 350lbs have succumbed to this 6.5mm bullet for me as well. No tracking needed.

I use the Nosler BT 120 GR for deer in my 264 Win Mag. This is the most accurate bullet i have tried grouping 1/2 and sometimes a little better with Rel 25 at 100 yards. I took this buck at more the 300 yards with it going just about 20 yards after the hit. Very good Whitetail bullet.

A great deer-killing-bullet in the .260 Rem from my experience.

I've used the 120 BT on shots as close as 20 yards to over 250 and they did what I needed. I did recover a couple just under the hide on the offside shoulder and they retained right at 50% of their original weight. Both recovered BT's looked like bea 175's pic. The rest of the BT's exited.

I guess I'll weigh in since nobody has yet mentioned using them in the good ol 6.5 X 55, but it is my favorite deer/pig bullet in that round.
