Has anybody bought any of the SSA brass from nosler?

Just asking to see if it is the same quality or if it is different somehow

Any input, would be appreciated

I have some i bought two years ago that is ok compared to the brass that I have saved from ssa factory ammo. I have split necks from the factory ssa loads at least 25%. I am going to anneal and see how they do. I have 1000 pcs of federal once fired so I may just stick with those.

I have federal stuff I have had pretty good luck with in my 6x6.8. The hornady stuff shoots good don't know how long it will last though.

I ordered some starline to try out. Hopefully these will be the go to for 6.8 brass. They have 250 cases for $99 shipped. I have some on fedex tracking right now, that will be worked into a deer hunting load with 110 nosler accubond bullets for deer this fall. Haven't heard any reports on the starline yet.

It is OK, but I anneal everything before I use it, so no issues with cracked necks here. And I don't have enough loads on the Nosler brass to make a call on primer pockets shooting loose. I did a comparison, side by side, with the original SSA brass(before being purchased by Nosler), and the Nosler brass loads did not yield as tight of groups as the original SSA brass. IIRC the groups opened up about .25 MOA with the Nosler brass. It was still acceptable at around 1 MOA, for coyote loads, but for small colony varmint shooting, I am sticking with the original SSA brass(still have a good supply of that).

I too am going to buy a bunch of the Starline brass. In my experience, that will be the best brass currently on the market, unless Lapua makes 6.8 SPC brass...And even then, it may be hard to justify the price, given Starline's current price.
