OH MY! Look what happened to my reloading bench

Anybody else have a reloading bench that serves more than one purpose? I didn't ... until today!

I know that my bench should be a dedicated working area for it's intended purpose, but I have to admit that it might be an EXCELLENT spot for starting seed for my summer garden.

I have a well lighted reloading area and thought that I'd try starting some tomato & pepper plants for the garden, on top of my bench. I planted these friday evening when I got home from work. Set them on top of a heating mat & have left the lights on over my bench since then. Tonight I came home from work & thought I'd check on them and to my surprise ... they are sprouting! 4 days & they're up! I just might have a dual purpose reloading bench!

Enjoy the pics.

Yeah, sure Ricky, those are vegetable plants you're taking such good care of on your reloading bench down in the basement where no one can see them. :

Oh great! Now I'll have to wait until the leaves are fully developed & post another pic, just to prove they are tomato and pepper plants.

Atleast that's how Gurneys had them labeled!

I figured this was going to disappoint a few on here, but that fresh salsa that will be made from these tomatoes and peppers is going to taste mighty fine!

Oh, if I get the urge for a reloading session ... these plants will be temporarily removed from the area.

If you get a pepper seed in a case, is it considered a "hot load"?

At the very least, your labors at your reloading bench won't be "fruitless".
