Okie sunrise

I was prolly either in Morgantown, WVA trying to get further educated or in Waynesburg, PA. l do remember it but had forgot the name High Flight.
Neat that you knew where to find it or even know of it at 50🙂.

I was probably in a sleeping bag on the floor in our living room on a Friday night. Sounds odd, but as a little kid I refused to sleep in my bed on nights that I didn’t have school the next morning. My dad drove truck for a living and I never wanted to miss an opportunity to see him if he came home late. He would always save a sip of coffee from his thermos for me and then put me to bed. One of the perks was that I could watch TV while on the living room floor. You know… one of those old TV sets about the size of a China cabinet made of wood! Lol…

Thanks for the reminder of better times, Jeremy.

Only on one “social media” platform and I’ve made it a mission to change the algorithm every few weeks. But even that gets bored after a while.
This is the first site I really enjoy visiting. I absolutely love reading the “long” stories and watching all the videos. Guess I live vicariously through some of you midwestern/western guys with your terrain on being able to see for miles and what sometimes appears to be unlimited coyotes.
I remember when the TV stations just went off the air. I remember it stating the time and where are your kids. Dad would always laugh about that. I grew up in simpler times. If I ever skipped school Dad would’ve beat my tail. Yet, I had a signed note from him I kept in my wallet if I was late to school because I killed something and needed to take care of it. Couldn’t miss school even if we were sick, but Dad would keep us out for a fishing or hunting trip, lol. Those were the good ole days.
Reading Jeremy’s post sometimes reminds me of those days.
