Hey Travis... What you were talking about is the kind of trouble I was talking about... My game warden friend is working to put a stop to this stuff... Don't worry... You ain't the first one to have trouble with the Haw Creek gang... They don't like outsiders in their neck of the woods (even if it is public land)... When I was a deputy, I had a guy tell me that some of that bunch scared off a gobbler he had called up... But the real kicker is this... The guy that was turkey hunting was on his own property... In other words the bad guy was tresspassing to spook the birds!!! He is lucky that wasn't my land... He would probably still be laying there... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif Should you decide to hunt in that part of the country again let me know and I'll give you some contact numbers, and if the bad guys decide to do something stupid, they will get some paper to remind them of the stupid things they did... The numbers I'll give you are direct lines to the game warden and US Forest Service law enforcement...
Let me see what my weekend holds and I'll know more in a day or so... I may have some household projects to take care of... If ya don't feel like drivin' to Honobia Country, I know a rancher here in Pocola that wants the coyote population on his farm thinned out... We can hunt there any time... The rancher says "the only things that are off limits to hunting on my place are hen turkeys and my cattle." /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif He hates coyotes and bobcats... Stay in touch...
