Olympic Arms K 16??? Thinking of grabbing one..

I purchased a Bushmaster ORC this Spring and I really love it. This is my first AR 15 rifle. It is not a hunting rifle, just a nice compact home defense/plinker rifle. I put an ADCO red dot on it and love it. I was thinking of grabbing an Oly-arms K 16 to "tinker" with and trick out, maybe throw a compact scope on it and yote hunt a little here in the wooded areas of NH where shots are 125 yards MAX. It will not be my main everyday calling rifle though. Any problems or concerns with this rig? I just want a minimum initial investment "fun gun" that is not a piece of junk, something I can add on and upgrade as CASH comes in. Thanks, Rich.

I have two of Olympics Multi Match carbines and love them both. Very nice shooters for the money.

Alot of people don't like Oly but I have one of the SUM "stainless ultra match" barells and I love it. Buy it an never look back.

A lot of people think Colts are great too but I have never seen an upper as bad as from Colt.
