Olympic Arms Plinker Plus

I'm kicking around the idea of getting a semi-auto, but money is an issue. It will probably come down to a Mini-14, but I was looking at the Olympic Arms website and the Plinker Plus looks like a good deal.

Anyone have one?
 
They are a good deal but they are iron sights, not a flat-top. If you are looking to get into an entry level flat-top, the K-16 is a good deal.
 
Bought one over a year and a half ago. Love it to death. I bought another AR-15, a bushmaster shortly after buying the Plinker Plus. Sold the Bushmaster, but still have the plinker. I shoot it every week and have put over 1k rds through it with no problems. I have since switched out the furniture to an OD green color and added an A2 upper with better sites. I have a cheap carry handle scope mount I throw on it when yote hunting.

Well worth the money in my eyes.

Do you have to buy at retail from Olympic arms or can you buy over the counter for a little less money???? Sure like the K-16 Dtech mentioned.
