Season is over I know...but one more for the road.
Last of the persimmon I cut and dried. Good stuff, pretty plain looking. My goal is to have good sounding/playing pots with a simple/clean build. These are turned on my wood lathe. Ive done others on a router setup and also my metal lathe...but building on the wood lathe is my preferred method while still maintaining precise measurements.
Persimmon 3.5" slate over glass. One piece persimmon striker that came in a bit light at 19 grams but plays well.
