One of the BEST gun builds on Youtube, LongRifles, Inc. HD video!!!

in all reality, your not gonna lose accuracy shortening up a barrel, just some velocity... especially when equipping it with a can, I prefer a shorter more "ridged" barrel, compared to a longer thinner barrel...

Truthfully, quite a bit, BUT Chad and I are working on marketing this weapon platform as "THE COYOTE RIFLE"
a couple things need to happen to reduce the overall cost of this build for others that want one like it... we need at least 10 built @ one time so the machinery does not need to be reprogrammed and they all can be manufactured together, we need to decide on an action that would drive the overall cost down, unless all the customers wanted the Bighorn action like I use, same with the barrel, chamber cal. and stock.

Skinney,
Are you having any success with people getting on the "list of 10" to have one of these built? I'm definitely interested and would like to know what it would be chambered in. If it's a 0-400 yard weapon I think 6mm would be a good caliber choice. Give me your thoughts.

ya we've had a couple... give Chad a call and ask him, be sure and tell him I sent ya... 6mm is your choice, I'm getting better suppression using a designated can, instead of an overbore 30 cal can, on a 6mm... and with an only 4 minute drop at 400, all you need to know is how to shoot in the wind with 22-250 match chambering, IF your using light rounds... IMHO, I "designed" the platform I wanted with a fast twist, there is NO reason you can't use a 69+ grain round and have no issues with wind drift, as well as taking it out A LOT further than 400yds.

So your Coyote Rifle is a 22-250 set to shoot the heavier bullets? I do like the 22-250 cartridge, killed many animals with it. I want exactly what you have because it just works!
I sent Chad an email so I'll wait to see what he says.
Thanks!

Yes, I built it to run the heavies IF I feel the need to... I suggest calling Chad, not sure how often he checks his email!

Hey skinny I have a savage pred. Model in 22-250 if I can get the barrel turned would the can you are using do a good job and what can are you using. Do not know much about choosing the right can.

I don't want to come off arrogant @ all, but many have seen my post's and many have seen my equipment... while many KNOW the equipment I run is not needed to kill a dog, I KNOW we ARE running the best stuff out there... When I find better I'll use it... shoot me a PM if you want specs on our cans... otherwise call me, I can fill ya in.

GREAT JOB James!

I worry that you may single handedly put the wylie coyote on the endangered list with that thing.

Keep em coming.

I guess you have to have a whole folder of paperwork in the truck when hauling that many cans.

If only you knew where I lived... I don't take pavement, its all dirt... I'm a dealer, all I need is a copy of my SOT, and it's always in my G4

Don't worry buddy, I've gotten some great kill shots with this system, first day I unsheathed her, we smoked a triple, all on film, I'm thinking this "COYOTE RIFLE" is more than just a tack driver, it brings a sense of decree to the hunt.

So that's it in the new video on youtube?

My new 20" 22-250 is on it's way,had one before and should have never parted with it.....
